Matt Nye is a Los Angeles–based editor, producer, director, and writer with over 20 years of experience creating story-driven content across broadcast, streaming, digital, and social platforms.

His work includes collaborations with Warner Bros. Discovery (HBO Max and discovery+), Rolling Stone, and Bloomberg, producing content that has generated millions of views online.

He began his career at 17 directing theater and went on to write, direct, and produce the independent feature Two for Three, which screened at Tribeca Cinemas and received distribution through Amazon.

As a filmmaker, he has written seven feature screenplays and two television pilots. His work has been recognized by the Academy Nicholl Fellowship, Austin Film Festival, and Hollywood Horrorfest.

His short films Happy Hour and Anyone for President have screened at the TCL Chinese Theatres in Hollywood.
